Claudia Maittlen-Harris

Claudia Maittlen-Harris is originally from Sydney, Australia but relocated to Texas as a little girl (the inherent funniness of that situation was lost on little Claudia for a long time). However it wasn't until her move to Los Angeles, that she embarked on her comedy career. After doing theatre in Los Angeles including a successful run of "Crimes of the Heart" at the Coronet Theatre - backed by the likes of Angelica Huston, Blythe Danner and Kevin Williamson - and time at the Groundlings, she decided to try her hand at standup. She can be seen at all the major clubs in Los Angeles - The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, The Improv, M Bar, Comedy Union as well as clubs throughout Orange County. You may have seen her performing on the Groundlings stage of late, or with her own sketch comedy group "The Reason Daddy Drinks." Also, she will be performing for colleges and clubs this summer in her "home" state of Texas. However, for now, she just wants to bring the funny in an original, honest way.
