Deanna Knudsen (Danish: "kah-newd'-son") combines her science knowledge and comedic observations in a unique way. Despite being relatively new to comedy, she has performed all over Southern California; as far north as Pasadena and as far south as Huntington Beach. In addition to performing stand-up comedy, she holds advanced degrees in such areas as biology, chemistry, physics, and psychology - so it's pretty clear she didn't win any popularity contests. Deanna has been lecturing to college pre-med. students since 1990 and received a prestigious "Teacher of the Year Award for Teaching Excellence" in 2001. She is a role model for future medical students and science geeks. Also a notable billiard player, she is a former amateur eight-ball champion. Originally from New Jersey (yo - Joisey), Deanna currently lives in San Bernardino County - yes it's as unfortunate as it sounds. In her free time, she enjoys reading Karaoke Scene Magazine and obsessing about SigAlerts.
